We went from airport razing in MW2 to this? I mean anyone who plays CoD has to at least agree that that particular level is at least a legitimate point of controversy. I am no fan of the CoD games but I am a gamer so I hate seeing them called into question, but you have to admit. Airport terrorist attack that you may or may not participate? in is way more controversial then Wheatly’s very very bad jokes at adoption.The fact he is a villain makes this whole story ignorant and pointless.
Get over it man! It’s a game it doesn’t matter! I watched the clip and I’m adopted and didn’t take anything the wrong? way!

When I saw this I literally face palmed…IT’S A GAME! It’s not like they told her to go die in a hole! I can think of much worse things in video games!? So stop crying about an adoption joke! -_- ALSO! They forgot to mention GLaDOS come back to what Wheatley said and how she defended Chell.

I’m surprised that a similar incident occurred with some unemployed guy complaining about GlaDOS’s line, “You’re not? even a full-time employee. Where did your life go wrong?” in Portal 1.

Yes, he is over reacting, but I sort of understand what he’s saying. Does that make it Valve’s fault? No, if the parent is going to be so sensitive about such an? issue then he needs to personally screen everything and not rely on companies to do so for him. This is someone who desperately loves his child and wants to protect her from ever feeling like she doesn’t belong, and as a parent he failed her. So then he went to the news, and the media spread misinformation.

except one : SHES NOT ADOPTED (the character)- HER PARENTS WORKED AT APERTURE and two: he complains about being made fun of for being adopted, but not the fact that wheatly/glados are trying to GET YOU KILLED throughout the whole game. QUIT WHINING LIKE A CHILD and instead show your daughter? how NOT to get upset when someone says something hurtful.

Anyone who actually played the game (lol it’s “educational”!) could tell you that Wheatly and GLaDOS were portrayed as? being extremely petty for resorting to such insults. I like how the reporters didn’t take issue with calling someone fat as an insult.
