What is that thing against broccoli??
My children have been loving broccoli? since they were little! ^o^
When they were small it was pasta with mashed broccoli, with olive oil and Parmesan cheese. And later in stir fries or just with olive oil and garlic!
Stef, this video is just what the doctor ordered! My two year old son has recently begun dragging me away from the dinner table to go play with him; since listening to this conversation I? have re framed my frustration as flattery. How could I be mad at my son for wanting nothing but to play with me when I get home from work? Last night I had huge success in explaining to him how I enjoy talking to mommy during dinner. Peaceful parenting works!
@snaz27 hell yeah we all go to bed at around the same time,i? get up at 5am so i go to bed early too.
@johnbradyify You go to bed the same time as your kids? lol ?
“Girl guide” is not a? term most americans know. Just to be clear it’s like the Canadian version of girl scouts.
Interesting, neither of my kids went through the “NO!” to everything. I guess I’ll? take that as a complement.
It’s great to hear a couple? of intelligent Dads discussing the upbringing of young children. The male mind has traditionally been absent from this vital area of the human dynamic.
“Are you? saying no, again?” My boy would so quickly come back with a smiling yes!
i do what was taught? to me,i lead by example, eating, bedtime or whatever and i swear my kids listen and are just great kids, kids only know what they see.

@EndTheResistance “Who would mess with? the Romans?” haha, brilliant!
What a great way to start the new year. Thanks for posting. A good example of how embracing a childs sense of adventure can help with issues such as bed? time. Love the idea of “clock law”. I might get a roman numerals clock as I can “blame the romans”.Who would mess with the romans? Have a great 2012 Steph I am sure that there will be planety to discuss as the year kicks into gear. Lets hope the state crumbles away in record time!
