does anyone know how to go about starting a private adoption?

I had a tubal ligation 10 years ago and have since married a wonderul man.. We have been married almost 7 years and would really like to have a baby.. We arent rich so we cant go to an adoption agency. But we arent dirt poor either, we can provide all the needs and a loving home

contact a lawyer, that specializes in private addoption, in your area. You could probably find one in the phone book. You will most likely be responsible for all legal and medical costs. DO NOT offer to PAY for the baby itself, even if the birth mother asks. That is illegal.
I am sure there are lawyers in your area that specialize in adoptions. I would start there. You might also be able to do an internet search for private adoption firms in you area. Good luck!
