Question by Pumpkin: Do you think people have to get a “parenting” license before they’re allowed to have kids?
I mean, any idiot can become a parent. I think that there should be a psychological test before people are allowed to have kids. Just thinking.
Maybe we should all go Gattaca. Besides, I don’t think it’s a silly question. But thank you for taking the time.

absolutely. although im for breeding licenses. where you would need to be a in a good position to have kids. that means good jobs, a good home, good mental health, responsible, trustworthy, and a slwe of other things. look at britney spears…am i the only one who feels sorry for that kid?

I noticed when I use this site it will always show me questions that are at least a week old. I have to click on “newest” in order to get it to default back. Is this a glitch or is there any way to change it?

Parents of today are simply incomparable with parents of yesterday.I always believe that traditional parents are still more successful in raising up their children.What do you think?

I think it should be a mandatory course in high school.

There are classes available for expentant parents at hospitals on the basics of feeding, changing, bathing, swaddeling etc etc.

As for traditional and parents of today, I’m not sure what you’re refering to. I am glad my parents did a better job wiht me than THEIR parents did with them (no hitting, alot of communication) and I feel that I can take the best of my parents and combine it with the best of me to give my kids the best upbringing I can.
